Computer rooms are stuffy and hot!
Possibly the worst environment to
teach in and for kids to learn in!

Because the cabinet is cooled
and ducted to an outside wall
the room temperature is greatly reduced |
With thirty or so computer cooling fans blowing in the classroom there is a high background noise that has to be overcome |
Because we have all the computers in the cabinet the ambient noise is reduced |
Teachers loose valuable teaching time and have the frustration of controlling the class as students fiddle and tamper with the computers that are on their desk. |

Students have little if any room to write and work effectively as the computer is often taking up the space that they need to be working in. |
Whilst the machines sit safely in the cabinet the desk space is freed up with our policy of ‘Free the Desk’ TM. This means that students have a working space in front of them and assists the teaching process. |

Security is an ever-increasing issue and the classroom offers plenty of scope to the opportunist thief as well as the mindless sabotage of mouse’s, keyboards, screens and computers |
We take all of the computers off the desk and store them under lock and key in a metal and hardened glass fronted cabinet in the corner or cupboard within the room. One of the schools with our cabinets in place sustained two break-ins and no computers were stolen. The Chalvedon School, Essex was delighted as thousands of pounds were saved. |
